Jackie Calderwood

Information

Jackie Calderwood is a PhD research student with the Institute of Creative Technologies at De Montfort University. Her practice-based research investigates pervasive media and holistic experience of the ambulant landscape.

Jackie completed her MA Media (Interactive, Audio, Video Arts) at the University of the West of England, exploring the relationship between participatory arts practice and interactive design. She was resident at the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol during 2009, creating experimental film-making mediascapes for public events. Jackie has worked on numerous arts, media and education projects in unique communities across SouthWest England, and is a founder member of the Somerset artists group Strata Collective.
